At 6190 metres (20,310 feet), ethereal Denali is the highest peak in the United States. Part of the Alaska Range, and located within Denali National Park and Preserve, the name "Denali" derives from the Athabaskan language, meaning "the tall one." Indeed, from its base to its summit, Denali is actually the tallest mountain in the world, while Mount Everest claims the title of the highest. Denali Park is home to abundant wildlife, and there is a good chance of seeing caribou, moose, wolves and grizzlies. Access to remote areas is restricted and may be obtained through overland tours with superb commentary on flora, fauna and natural history. #Denali #DenaliNationalPark
