                                                                           About Downriver and Uphill Images

My name is Jeff Prior. I am a Canadian who has travelled to some remarkable places around the globe. downriveranduphill.ca features landscapes and other outdoor images from the grandeur of Canada's Yukon and Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Alaska, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, along with the vast waterways of Ontario's lakes and rivers. Also featured are images of historical interest from the Canadian Arctic and Greenland. The spectacular photograph of an iceberg on the coast of Greenland, and the photos of the Mould Bay Station were taken by my father in the early 1950s when he worked for the Geographical Branch of the Canadian Department of Mines and Resources. All other photos are my own work. While this site depicts some of my completed journeys, I hope these photos provide an inspiration for your future travels.
